And stuff happens.
I suppose we’ve all been through turmoil, heartache, and difficult times with family. And we all deal with it the best we can. But at 70 years old, it’s gotten a lot harder for me to deal with some of it.
I do the best I can. At least I think I do.
My music and photography—and, of course, my wife—help me survive the really tough times.
I must admit, though, 70 years have hardened my heart a little. Not so much that I don’t understand any of it. But there’s a lot I don’t understand, especially when it comes to adult children.
“Adult children.”
I’m not even sure how to define that term anymore. If you’re an adult, you’re no longer a child. Or are you?
See? There goes a little more hardening of my heart.
I can’t help it. All I can do is continue loving.
But even that has gotten a lot tougher to do.
